A program for general audiences, designed primarily to reduce homophobia and increase understanding of LGBTQ people and issues. Many heterosexual people have questions about gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender issues but never have a chance to get the answers. In this program, our pair of sex educators takes a friendly, funny, accessible approach, incorporating video clips, personal stories, engaging exercises, theory, a generous dose of humor, and plenty of time for anonymous Q&A to educate about this serious topic. They field questions ranging from "What makes people gay?" to "How do lesbians have sex?" to "Do bisexual people need to date two people at once?" to "Can transgender people have kids?" With the goal of increasing straight students' awareness, comfort, and sensitivity to LGBT issues, this program is a perfect event for Orientation Week, Pride Month, National Coming Out Day, or any time during the semester."
